A $1,000,000 Phase II SBIR grant from the NSF advances Alerje's efforts to support food allergy immunotherapy, employing a patent-pending AI-driven platform. Alerje's Phase I supported platform, already demonstrating a strong interest in the field, offers potential for broader collaboration and integration in the healthcare ecosystem, reflecting its potential to personalize treatment approaches for food allergy families worldwide.

On October 20th 2020, we'll be competing for our share of around $1M in prizes! Alerje was selected as one of 17 companies from over 100 entries as a semi-finalist for one of the top pitch competitions in the Midwest. Additionally, the public will be able to vote on three People's Choice Grants.

We're happy to announce that Alerje has been accepted into the inaugural Backstage Accelerator cohort in Detroit! There were over 1,800 applications from around the world, with an acceptance rate of less than 2%, and we're honored to be a part of such an awesome program!

The West Coast Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP) is an FDA funded MedTech accelerator supporting pediatric device innovators from concept to commercialization. On behalf of Alerje, Javier joined some of Michigan's emerging entrepreneurs in the Health and Wellness, Life Sciences, and Medical Innovation space. We discussed opportunities, identified growth challenges, and swapped success stories at every stage of startup development.

Earlier this month, Alerje was one of 8 companies selected for the 2018 MedTech Innovator Chicago Regional Pitch Competition. We had the opportunity to present to and receive feedback from judges including investors, providers, and senior executives from leading medtech companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Baxter, Molex, and many others. Based on feedback, there's a chance that we could be selected to advance to participate in the MedTech Innovator Accelerator and/or Showcase Program. Alerje happened to place in the top 3 at this event, so we're hopeful we'll be given the opportunity to move forward!
