Alerje Accepted into StartUp Health

FDA Backed Startup Program Accepts Alerje

Alerje Joins the Inaugural Backstage Capital Accelerator!

We're happy to announce that Alerje has been accepted into the inaugural Backstage Accelerator cohort in Detroit! There were over 1,800 applications from around the world, with an acceptance rate of less than 2%. The program starts next week 3/12. We're honored to be a part of such an awesome program!

MedTech Innovator Pitch Competition

Earlier this month, Alerje was one of 8 companies selected for the 2018 MedTech Innovator Chicago Regional Pitch Competition. We had the opportunity to present to and receive feedback from judges including investors, providers, and senior executives from leading medtech companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Baxter, Molex, and many others. Based on feedback, there's a chance that we could be selected to advance to participate in the MedTech Innovator Accelerator and/or Showcase Program. Alerje happened to place in the top 3 at this event, so we're hopeful we'll be given the opportunity to move forward!

Food Allergy Advocacy

Alerje was showcased at the Nashville Sounds "Peanut Free Night", sharing our vision with over 7,000 attendees! We're thankful for The Allergy, Asthma, & Sinus Center as well as another one of our awesome advisors, Dr. Robert Moskowitz, for the opportunity!

Next, we were proud to support the 4th annual University of Michigan Mary H. Weiser Food Allergy Center Spring Luncheon. The luncheon benefits a mission of improving the lives of food allergic individuals by conducting comprehensive research that will significantly improve patient care and expand food allergy education, research and community services.Both events gave us incredible insight and feedback from some of our most key stakeholders, patients, providers, and a few payers. Alerje was well received!

MedTech Founders Panel at Detroit Startup Week

On behalf of Alerje, Javier joined some of Michigan's emerging entrepreneurs in the Health and Wellness, Life Sciences, and Medical Innovation space. We discussed opportunities, identified growth challenges, and swapped success stories at every stage of startup development.
